The winners received their
awards at a banquet held at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Minneapolis on Tuesday,
April 15, 2008.
In this year’s ROMA awards, there were 103 entries in 15
remodeling categories that ranged from kitchen and bath, to additions, lower
levels, and total house.
Designed to honor outstanding remodeler members and their work, the awards
recognize quality, design, and how well the project met client requirements.
Judging for the 2008 ROMA Awards was done by a panel of professionals from a
sister Remodelers Council in Portland Oregon. The professional remodelers
reviewed all of the entries, selecting the winners based upon the submitted
before and after photographs, floor plans, and design statement that explained
the challenges and needs of the client, solutions devised by the remodeler, and
the success of the project.
