As 2008 came to a close, so did KC Chermak's term as
President of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. Though the year was
one of the most challenging for the Twin Cities building industry, KC was proud
to have had the opportunity to help navigate the association through rough
waters and look forward to a coming year that brings hope and promise to this
fine industry.
2008 was a challenging year for almost everyone in the home
building industry not only in Minnesota, but across the country as well. While
not seeing the overwhelming high levels of building activity of recent years,
Pillar Homes is pleased to have seen a steady amount of new home construction
starts and renovation project starts throughout 2008. Pillar Homes was pleased
to have been chosen as winners of the Best Website Award among Twin Cities home
builders. Pillar Homes' Imagination Renovation won the 2008 Roma Award. Our 2008
Fall Parade of Homes model was chosen as a Parade of Homes Dream Home.
When K.C. Chermak co-founded Pillar Homes in 1995, his goals
were straightforward… to design and build extraordinary, high-quality homes that
were inspired by his client’s passions. K.C., now sole owner and President of
Pillar Homes, draws upon his 20+ years of experience in the real estate industry
to create a total package – house, lot and location – that meets his clients’
needs. He also draws upon a team of top-notch, courteous and talented home
building professionals. This approach has led to Pillar Homes becoming one of
the most sought-after home builders in the western suburbs.
K.C. also believes it is important to be an active member in the building
industry. The Builders Association of the Twin Cities provides and industry
networking and educational format for many of the area's top builders. KC has
been involved in learning and sharing his knowledge since 2000. After serving as
treasurer and vice- president in 2006 and 2007, KC was named President of the
Builders Association of the Twin Cities in 2008.
