Step #6 focuses on the key stage of creating your floor plan. Over the years, we have refined a detailed system of integrating all of the information gathered with you to coordinate your budget requirements with your personal design goals and expectations for your home.

Our step #5 of the Pillar Homes' "Path to Purchase" begins exploring your options for financing. You will interview mortgage lenders that Pillar Homes has researched and explore the best single close loan or construction to permanent loans.

 

This less expensive, yet highly successful process is the best approach to building and financing a new home today.

 

Our fourth step takes you into the key stages of your home's design. At Pillar Homes, we offer both custom home design as well as semi-custom plans. We have a variety of floor plans that have been created over the years and we invite you to integrate your ideas into any of these plans to create the home of your dreams.


Many of our clients bring their ideas to us in the form of photos, sketches and even clippings from home and design magazines.

Step three of the Pillar "Path to Purchase" begins with exploring the possibilities in placement of your home within the unique characteristics of your lot. We will explore the best views, consider the changes in grade and elevation and evaluate sun exposure.

 

We will also help you in discovering larger, key amenities to your home's design in relationship to lot such as extra garages, undercar garages and bonus rooms over garages.

Our second step involves acquiring the most accurate and current lot information available. This may include a survey the present lot and home, information on adjoining property. We can take photos of the entire lot as well as proximity to neighbors.

Step #1 of the Pillar "Path to Purchase" is finding the perfect spot, the ideal location to build the home of your dreams. It may be an existing house that needs to be torn down, it may be an empty lot in prime location or it could be a new lot in one of our featured neighborhoods.

 

When it comes to tear downs, every city has different policies. Pillar Homes has removed many homes over the years and is experienced in handling all of the research and planning as needed.

For new lots, Pillar reviews all development bylaws, city codes and utility issues.
